As Executive Chairman, Sam leads the enterprise-wide strategic direction of First Hospitality & First Investors, spanning investment, operations, and governance. He founded and chairs the company’s governance board, shaping its long-term vision and ensuring institutional discipline across all facets of the platform.

Sam has engaged across more than $500M in hospitality investments and brings deep experience across hotel development, management, and capital markets. He serves on Hilton’s Garden Inn Owner Advisory Council and holds a BS in Manufacturing & Design Engineering and an MS in Engineering Design & Innovation, both from Northwestern University.

Recognized as an emerging industry leader by Hotel Business, Hotel Management, and REJournals, he is also an advocate for broadening access to STEM education. Sam lives in Chicago with his wife, their family, and two dogs.
